Terms of service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (“ToS”) govern access to and use of the VoxelSprites service (the “Service”), available at https://voxelsprites.com, operated by Maxence Krzyzelewski (GDDream) (the “Operator”).

Using the Service constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these ToS.

2. Service description

VoxelSprites is an AI-assisted web tool for generating animated 3D voxel models. It lets users:

  • Describe a voxel model through a text prompt;
  • Generate the model and its associated animations (idle, walk, etc.), then manually retouch it in the editor;
  • Export models as animated GLB or PNG sprite sheets;
  • Publish creations to the community gallery (subject to moderation).

3. User account

Registration is free and requires a valid email address as well as a password of at least eight characters. Email verification is required to activate the account. Upon verification, 2 free credits are granted to the account, subject to the anti-abuse measures implemented by the Operator.

Users undertake to provide accurate information and to keep credentials confidential. The Operator reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that breaches these ToS.

4. Credits and pricing

Each guided generation consumes 1 credit. This flat fee covers all the steps required to create the model (mesh and animation generation), regardless of the number of internal operations performed in the background.

Upon registration, users receive 2 free credits, subject to the anti-abuse measures implemented by the Operator. Additional credits can be purchased through the Stripe secure payment service, from the Pricing page. Indicative prices (inclusive of any applicable taxes; VAT not applicable under the French micro-entrepreneur scheme, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code):

  • 10-credit pack: 2.50 €
  • 50-credit pack: 11.00 €
  • 200-credit pack: 40.00 €

Purchased credits are tied to the user’s account, do not expire, and are not transferable between accounts.

Les crédits sont vendus à l'unité via la plateforme Stripe. Le paiement déclenche la mise à disposition immédiate des crédits sur le compte utilisateur. Aucune donnée bancaire (numéro de carte, CVV, etc.) n'est stockée par VoxelSprites - toutes les transactions sont traitées et sécurisées par Stripe.

Credits are non-refundable except in the event of a technical failure attributable to the Operator, or under the 14-day legal cooling-off period provided the credits have not been used (consuming the credits constitutes “commencement of performance with the user’s express consent”, extinguishing the cooling-off right). Refund requests must be sent through the Contact page within 14 days of purchase.

5. Intellectual property

Voxel models generated through the Service belong to the user who generated them, within the limits of applicable law on AI-generated content. Users are free to use, modify, export and redistribute them, commercially or otherwise.

The Operator retains all rights over the Service’s source code, the “VoxelSprites” brand, as well as its internal instructions, custom-trained models and proprietary processes.

By publishing a model to the community gallery, users grant the Operator and Service visitors a non-exclusive license to display and download it.

6. Prohibited behaviors

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Creating multiple accounts in order to accumulate free credits;
  • Using automated tools, robots or data-extraction agents on the Service’s interfaces;
  • Generating unlawful, hateful or pornographic content, or content infringing third-party rights;
  • Any attempt to circumvent quotas, paid features or moderation mechanisms.

Any breach results in the immediate suspension of the offending account, with no refund.

7. Service availability

The Operator strives to maintain maximum Service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates or force majeure may cause unannounced downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. The Operator cannot be held liable for content produced by the third-party AI models the Service relies on, nor for any use users make of such content.

La responsabilité de l'Éditeur est limitée au montant des crédits effectivement payés par l'utilisateur sur les douze (12) derniers mois précédant le fait générateur du litige. L'Éditeur ne peut être tenu responsable des dommages indirects (perte de chance, de chiffre d'affaires, d'image, de données) ni des défaillances tierces (modèles d'IA, hébergeur, processeur de paiement)

10. Changes to the ToS

The Operator reserves the right to amend these ToS at any time. Users will be notified of substantive changes by email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the amended ToS.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These ToS are governed by French law. Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Béthune, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
